edited December 2014 in General App Discussion

for something sporting a pro moniker i really hope im just missing something obvious,
i have looked at the app n itunes and theres no songs in the user folder, only samples.

if there really is no way to backup your projects... well fuck lol

  • There are so many things that need 'Fixing' in iMPC Pro and this is definitely one of them.

It is possible to backup 'sessions' (without samples) using iFunBox and it took me a little time to find where iMPC Pro stores the sessions.

The sessions (without samples) are stored in iMPC Pro/Library/Application Support/Sessions/

The ideal way for import and export of data to/from iMPC Pro is to use the 'standard' iOS8 Filepicker/Fileprovider extensions or at least store the projects and samples in a way that is accessible thru iTunes Filesharing :D

These is definitely one thing among many other things i will push for if or when i start to receive new betas for iMPC Pro...

  • Hi! you can use ifunbox to copy the folder Applications/Sessions. You have to copy all the samples too... I just don't know if you have to copy the file mysessions.plist too... i moved all my songs from one ipad to another and copy mysessions.plist works, but i don't know what happen if you have to copy just one project into a non empty impc pro...

  • Thanks guys..
Well just deleted this app. Along with all my songs I created in it.

I can't believe a Mpc app is so convoluted to just back up your songs.
