will update SynthMaster One iOS, is anyone still using AudioBus

Hi everyone,

I am about to update SynthMaster One next week, it's been a long while since we haven't touched it.

Looks like SynthMaster One iOS was supporting AudioBus, but since AUv3 replaced it, I am going to remove all AudioBus related code.

So, is anyone using AudioBus in 2026?

    Not using Audiobus at all. Should have been made obsolete a long time ago

    I don’t use AudioBus either, I have AudioBus 3 and more times than not it’s always in sleep mode when trying to use some IAA apps.

    Audio Bus got the whole ball rolling, But everyone has moved on.

    It used to be that the cure for that was to make sure you have an audio output somewhere in the session. Nothing needs to be as an input for , and it won't output any sound that way, but it's needed to keep the app from going to background.

    I don't use it any more so I can't say if that still works or not.

    Moved on to AUv3 years ago, but I do think it would be a nice nod to the community here to keep SMOne Audiobus- compatible for the people who still use it. After all, it is what started it all and SMOne was also one of the first heavyweight synth apps.

    Just my two cents.
