Mute input monitoring

I'm trying to create a subgroup for some input channels so I can mute input monitoring sometimes. The best I've come up with is sending via the FX bus, but because the sends are mono (typical behaviour), I can't preserve stereo panning of inputs. Is there another way to create a subgroup so I can send some channels to a bus before main out? Or, is there a way to create a widget to toggle input monitoring channels on/off? The goal is to mute monitoring while some loops are being recorded. Thank you.

If you want to toggle monitoring, using a send for monitoring is how to do it. Loopy’s sends are stereo, btw, as are all audio pipelines in Loopy Pro.

OK, that sounds good. I'll check it again. Maybe I didn't use a post-fader send. Another question if I may: Is 100% post-fade send a 1:1 gain of the channel, or is it boosted? If not, what % send sends 1:1? Thanks!

    Sends are 1:1 at 100%

Totally awesome dude! Stereo monitoring working too. (I had it pre-fade)

    Cool.

Pre-fader should be stereo, also. I am a bit puzzled as to what might have happened.

Sure. It was a mono audio input. Pre-fade send obviously sent a mono signal regardless of panning; post-fade now sends the panned signal. (I wonder should post-fade be the default instead of pre?) Works a charm now anyway.

FWIW, a mono input becomes a stereo stream with identical left and right channels. At the moment, Loopy doesn’t have any true mono pathways.
