tough one here I think best acoustic bass app?
This question is from one who comes from using Modo Bass and similar excellent sampled basses. I have used iFretless, and the basses in Korg Module Pro and Gadget and also those in Pure Synth Platinum.
While the electric basses in those are not too bad I am finding the Acoustic basses leave a lot to be desired, like they are alright, but nothing like Windows/Mac counterparts.
So IS there one on iOS, outside those above?

GeoShred introduces an acoustic bass with Naada. It’s pretty okay.
Thanks, yeah I have Geoshred - never used it as I use mostly clean guitars (viz Steel Guitar Pro) and acoustic gtrs...will cehck it out though!
hahaha, for $400 it can stay there!
I never touch the guitar in GeoShred haha. It’s there to load SWAM and NAADA instruments in my eyes.
but $400 for the NAADA??
You can buy individual instruments. I ended up getting the separate Naada packs over time but started at a few and waited for sales.
The individual instruments might be $10-15 each. If not normally, then on sale they’d be in that range. Look over any of the packs and see if there’s enough to justify grabbing one vs individually. That’s my take.
I actually really liked the Naada IV pack that the acoustic bass came out in. It felt like a “Wild West” set of instruments with harmonica, acoustic bass, acoustic guitar, and a few others.
After checking out most of that list and later GeoShred acoustic bass that’s what I landed on. If you’ve already got GS I recommend it.
MODO Bass really is a cool VST. That’s probably why physically modeled on GS hits closer to home for me. Not as customizable but pretty good playability.
thanks again...I could not find any individual buy options, just the whole pack...I will check again.
I just wish IK would do more to port some of their apps to iOS.
