“ The Behringer D-MINI is an ultra-compact analog synthesizer built around three distinct, fat-sounding voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs). It features six versatile playing modes (Unison, Octave, Fifths, Poly, and Ring Modulation), five selectable waveforms per oscillator, and a master D-Tune knob to create massive, warping bass.”

Specs actually sound somewhat similar to the Korg Volca Bass.

The credit for this legal strategy belongs to Fender’s internal corporate legal department, led by Aarash Darroodi (Fender’s General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer), in partnership with the international law firm Bird & Bird. While it feels like a sudden ambush to the guitar community, it was actually a highly calculated, multi-year intellectual property (IP) experiment engineered to bypass a massive historic failure.

Back on track. I'd have to look into this more but the D Mini is so tiny. Is one VCO really that useful to chase a 3 VCO sound?

    It’s got 3 VCOs.

Yes. Very misleading. It’s capable of 3 note chords.

Note the awesome precision of the copy! Six modes, 5 listed. (There are 2 different ring mod modes.)

And… I believe Phara-O Mini is a Volca Bass copy.

Does sound nice, still don’t quite see how they get away with such a blatant copy.

There are millions of guitars that look like Fenders or Gibson’s and no one bats an eye lid.

Fender is suing left and right at the moment (new CEO might be a reason) so, not entirely correct.

I see that thomannmusic is taking legal action against Fender. This is totally on Fender and their new stupid CEO.
