Changing the number of bars with a widget
Is it possible to change the number of bars in a clip with a single press on a button? So i can make ie. 4 buttons with 2, 4, 8, 12 bars to simply adjust the number of bars in a clip(s)? Not while playing but to set it up for different songs.

Hm, setting the master cycle length is one way to do it i see.
Choose Assign Clip Settings, then override the recording settings and set the count in and count out quantization to the number of bars desired.
I also set the master length to that value, but you may wish to have a different master length.
I generally suggest using the master cycle setting and setting up widgets to change the master cycle as needed unless there is. Need to have the master cycle be a different length.
The reason being that if you use Assign Clip Settings to change an individual clip’s setting, that clip’s setting will be immune to changing that setting at a global level . Sometimes that is what one wants but it sometimes creates extra work if you want a clip to use the global settings.
From the original post it sounds like setting the clip length might actually be the better option for "Not while playing but to set it up for different songs."
There's another possible way to go about this if you want to use buttons as it sounds like you do. Set up a set of buttons, one for each loop length that you'll need as described by @wagdog, with the target being
Selected Clip. Add a gesture for to the clip settings to make it easy to set the selected clip (I use long-press).Now, setting the bar length, or any other properties on any clip is just a matter of selecting the right clip and pressing the right button.
A nice thing about this way is the correct button(s) should highlight when you select a clip.
If that explanation isn't clear, I can provide more details and screenshots.
@espiegel123 and @wim I don’t remember how I arrived at that solution of setting both clip and the master length, but it works well for my particular template. I use this template for over 60 songs now and I’m leery of messing with it this point. I have buttons for each song and a wide array of options for automating song build ups.
Anyway, I’ll probably just make an experimental copy of the template and try doing things like you mentioned at some point. Appreciate you both.
My comments were directed toward what the OP described, not your use case. I too stick to using the master clock in most cases. However, it sounds as though @Ramgni69 is looking to have a base template, with song structure, then make quick changes to the lengths of the sections. That could be a case where one might not want to bother with changing the master clock.
I don't see any reason to change what you're doing.
My other comment about selected item as the target was also meant as a possibility in case it could be a little easier to configure than lots of buttons.
Indeed that works with auto count out enabled, count in (1 bar) and count out (n bars) as custom settings.
