Tons of random devs popping up and quickly releasing apps one after the other, usually in SwiftUI… I’m guessing many/most are vibe-coders, but hard to know.

Not suggesting this guy is, but, wondering if ppl have tried his apps and whether he seems like a serious dev.

He is a very decent guy, as far as I can see, cares about his apps, hard working, and although 16 Drones was a bit rough on release, he booked some consulting with me to get critical feedback on the app, I made a ton of suggestions to improve it, and he implemented them.

The UIs definitely have 'that look', but from what I gather he has a history of coding from before AI coding emerged, even though he definitely does use AI now as part of the process. I think there's some info about all that on his website somewhere, if you look.

I just put up a short orientation video on Omni btw:

  • This looks like fun.
Hopefully the Drum Machine be sent to different output for recording the drums and melodic content on different tracks ?

I don't think so, the drums are extremely basic anyway haha, trust me you'd probably want to avoid using them for anything more than a simple backing to play along with (which is all they're intended for, nothing else)

Ah nice, good to know. I’ll take a look at your orientation, too.
