Finally done my new EP 'Nightbound Frequencies'
Nightbound Frequencies
In a city soaked with neon and slowly moving shadows, I follow the trail of a woman I loved like an eternal promise but who vanished like fleeting smoke. She was warmth in the cold, danger wrapped in perfume — a femme fatale who could break a heart with nothing more than a glance over her shoulder.
Every reflection carries her whisper. Every streetlamp remembers her silhouette. I know she's gone, but the night keeps repeating her signal — the Nightbound Frequencies of a desire that refuses to die.
What do you think of this EP? frenq
Nightbound Frequencies - frenq
1) Slipped Away 00:00
2) Echoes in the Dark 05:51
3) Every Breath 11:43
4) Dark to Silver 16:40
With special mention* to Stefan Carhus, my Swedish friend who did all the vocals and backing vocals.
Drums - J. Stax | Bass - H. Morechurch | Guitar - C.P. | Vocals - S. Carhus | Keys, all compositions and lyrics - frenq
To guarantee authenticity, nothing has been edited. Recording and musical errors were simply included so that the recordings have retained their originality. This is how imperfect perfection is maintained. This EP was recorded in a few days in a small budget studio in Amsterdam - The Netherlands, with liters of decaf coffee. The EP is free for anyone who appreciates this kind of music, respects every human being on this planet (with the exception of lunatics who love power and money-making elites), and, if at all possible, keeps a pet.

Finally listened. Reminds me a lot of Bruce Springsteen, although I could be wrong in that regard.
I really love this.
Thanks for listening and your nice comment Jim! But Springsteen is too much of an honor. frenq
Bump
I'd say that if it isn't quite Bruce Springsteen, it's pretty damn close.
Really amazing work.
Listening to this was like stepping in a Time Machine and being sent back to 1985 or so... In a good way!
@lukesleepwalker, that may be true, my musical time machine does glitch from time to time. But who knows, these times might come back again. Here, for sure. In any case, thanks for listening and for your comment. Have a nice day, frenq
Well, let's hope that those times return in earnest and I'm glad they have returned where you are. I listen to a lot of music that is sanitized and compressed to hell and--most importantly, melody-less and harmony-shallow--that is produced these days. I like that you have the hallmarks of good musicianship and songwriting in your tunes. Rock on.
Yeah, a lot of the music in the top 40 that Rick Beato often bitches about is just...meh. Glad we have our community here so we can listen to good music made by each other.
Amen!
good EP. Thank you Frenq.
Thank you, Phil999!
Sounds great but shouldn’t it be “Frenquensies”? 🤓
Hahaha had to read it a few times before I got it. Well thought out! And thanks a lot for listening! frenq
