IK Multimedia Total Studio 5 Pro Production Suite (77% Off Today, 18 June)
Musician's Friend runs a "stupid deal of the day" promotion, and this IK software is on sale for $69.99 (supposedly from $299). Seems to have a lot of value, but IK Multimedia's pricing structure is always so baffling to me. I truly can't tell whether this will expand the tier of Tonex that I have on the iPad (and Mac, though I haven't tried it yet).
I post here in case anyone who can untangle this deal can comment on whether it actually is a good deal. I will say that everything I've use in Tonex sounds great. I just don't actually know what I've paid for and am entitled to, lol.

In my unsolicited opinion, this isn’t the right time to invest any money in amp sims or effects. NAM A2 has just been released publicly. Not only is the quality of the captures extraordinary, they’re totally free. I’ve logged a lot of hours playing through A2 amps and they sound the most realistic of any I’ve tried.
