New hardware sequencer on kickstarter: KDJ-ONE
Just saw this looks interesting. Only six tracks and no proper details of audio.

I saw this some time ago and I just don't see anything enticing about it.
Pass.
Thanks for sharing though
I can't take that thing seriously.
WTT:my ipad air for KDJ-ONE.
consider p/x for 250MB Zip drive or Soundblaster AWE64.
This thing wants to be an OP-1, but gets it wrong at every step. I kept watching the video with the tool from Slipknot because it was such a car wreck.
Is there a specific music making audience out there for whom the Slipknot fella is an inspiration?

Yes. But it's very specific. As a wise band manager once said, "guys, we've tripled our fan base, we're going to need 2 more shirts."
But really, this device fills a niche, since no one has been able to have a portable studio that fits in their pocket until now. Oh, wait...
Just bizarre.
It does seem like an app in a box....
Korg should do that with some of their Gadgets.
I do like Grooveboxes so was intrigued, have you seen the Japanese video? Very midi/soundblaster sound, hmm.....skip I think....think I'll just get the new electribe :-)

The new Electribes are Korg's response to the statement that they should make hardware versions of the Gadgets. Highly unlikely that we will see anything closer to a 1:1 recreation than the new line-it's more like they wouldn't have made new Electribes without the positive response to Gadget.
They met their funding goal.
