Assign different loopy outputs to different tracks in AUM to level before PA? (RME Total Mix Style)
Hello ![]()
I finally made the move to loopy pro and I'm absolutely in Awe by the possibilities.
I have encountered a limitation for the workflow I want though...
I want to use different templates for different songs, and that makes it hard to keep the guitar and vocal levels consistent throughout the templates.
With my RME Fireface UCX I have the advantage of Total Mix, where I can balance the output levels before sending to the PA. However I do not want to use the Fireface live... it's not built for that. I've used it in the past and ended up having to replace a USB port.
I am wondering if I can use AUM to replace total mix... before buying it ![]()

Hi. That should be possible. But remember that an AUv3 plug-in cannot also host other plug-ins. If you load Loopy Pro as an AUv3 in AUM, you will be able to access its multiple outputs in different AUM tracks. But you will not be able to load any AUv3 plug-ins in Loopy Pro; it will be restricted to its own built-in functionality.
