Half valving

In the Creations section, @AndyHoneybone and @GeoTony discussed a trumpet technique called “half valving.” I had never heard of it before, so I looked it up. As it turns out, I have heard it done many times, but always wondered how it was done.

    Thanks for this Paul… I didn’t know any of this before Andy ( @AndyHoneybone ) mentioned it.
    It turns out that SWAM has some settings for this I.e. Pipe Gesture defaults to ‘Normal Valve’ but can be set to ‘Half Valve Transition’ and ‘Half Valve’.
    In addition it has ‘Half Valve Amount’, a value which although locked in the UI can be altered (im pretty sure) via exposed parameters / cc values.
    Hours of fun to be had with this 😊
    Btw I agree with you about the second video, beautiful music.
