Since the last update, I haven't been able to open some of my projects, and the app crashes when I load a song.
Overall, loading times are significantly longer than before.
Even after reinstalling Logic Pro, nothing has changed.
iPad Pro M1 12.9"
iPadOS 26.5
Is everything working as usual for you after the latest Logic update?
Even updating to iPadOS 26.5.2 didn’t make any difference.
Could I send someone a small project of mine (about 3 MB) for them to check? It appears on my screen for a very short time after loading and then causes Logic Pro v3.3 to crash.
Other projects – even very large ones – run without any problems.
It's very likely to be a plugin that is causing the issue IMO.
I've had several periods where Logic crashes when opening projects, although it's not happening to me at the moment. It's intermittent and probably gets resolved when the rogue plugins get updated.
After doing some research, I found out that you can request a RESET of LOGIC PRO in the settings.
Once I’d enabled the reset and launched Logic (it takes a bit longer to start up!), I was able to reopen the project that had previously been causing problems.
This might be a useful tip, if you weren’t already aware of it.
Thank you for your help
I wasn't aware, thank you... although it's been pretty stable for me lately anyway.
Great tip - thanks!
The tip does work, but after a while Logic crashes again when I open the problematic project. I can get round it for now, but this can’t be a permanent solution.
I’ve analysed the project. Apart from Animoog Z, only internal sounds and effects are being used.
Even after deleting the track containing Animoog Z, Logic still crashes.
Something doesn’t seem to be right following the latest update to v3.3.
I’ll send Apple a crash report.
@Iskander :No such problem here
