To save time on mixer setup where you have a lot of routing, add "dummy" plugin instances, then long-press them in the mixer to replace them. The routing will be preserved on replacing the plugin. Save a template with some dummy instances already routed, then just replace them as needed.
Streambyter is a good choice for the dummy program as it has little to no overhead and doesn't get in the way of anything.
Leverage the
Selected Cliptarget to get lots of mileage out of foot switches without having to use profiles. You can use one or two buttons on the foot switch to navigate to the clip you want to work with, then all the other foot switches can carry out the same actions on whatever clip you're working with. This helps me not to have to remember a bunch of different switch and tap functions, all I need to think about is which clip I'm working on at the time.
A related strategy is to leverage Selected Clip as the target for on-screen widgets. In most cases the widgets will provide visual feedback of the settings for that clip.
Fwiw, if you haven’t checked out the Loopy Pro wiki, there are quite a few tips, tricks and example projects.
The projects in the sample projects folder (don’t skip its tutorial projects) have quite a few widgets and setup ideas you might find useful.
The patchstorage site has a lot of projects to build on or study:

Lots of good video tutorials

I have posted a lot of short videos with useful tips and techniques. They aren’t polished but I’ve been told that they are helpful:
Very simple thing : toggle the flash metronome when a clip is recording.
I agree, your videos are really interesting 🙂 Thx!
Wim -> Great suggestion with Streambyter, thank you. And for your other ideas as well. Alas ... I've yet to get a footswitch! It's on the to-do list, and a necessary upgrade for my production goals.
Espiegal123 -> Thank you, I've tended to use the wiki to answer questions and find solutions when encountered. I'll check it out for some other ideas. And the template sites are great, deconstructing them has big a huge help in learning. Still waiting on the template from the last featured artists template, Markus K. His style and approach are very similar to mine.
And your videos are wonderful. Iguana dreams is fantastic.
Etienne -> Great suggestion, thank you! Hadn't tried that yet.
