Omnisound - New Omnichord iOS app
Don’t think I’ve ever made one of these threads but I want this app to thrive

Well, let me do my part 🏃💨
Yessssssss
Do I need this if I have Tonality and kb1?
jking: it is VERY diffrent.
its for performing not composing.
check a video of Suzuki Omnichord on ytube to understand the nature of this app...
Have you compared this to the recently released Omni Pocket Synth? That one, while pricier, looks far more full featured.

I still use PolyHarp
by Henry Lowengard.
weirder and more on my taste...
In case you’re interested I just tried both, from the pov of someone who LOVES omnichords, used to own one. Omnisound is now one of my favourite apps for, a quick play, it’s fantastic. Omni pocket synth I found like the other solutions with strum pads—doesn’t sound like an Omnichord or have that magic.
I’d been trying to make do with apps that might do more but just don’t have the Omnichord thing. Omnisound does. Just wanted to recommend on that basis, an omnichord and a good craggy old mellotron sound are heaven for me.
If the dev is here, well done! You’ve really made something I love, I hope it carries on being kept usable forever and updated haha. And good luck if any other apps coming
I’m really hoping you’re already a fan of Add N to (X)? Omnichord came out live, mellotron did not. Lucky me got to see them a few times from Avant Hard era onward to demise.
