So, a Time Machine then? The Kozyrev Mirrors

Kozyrev Mirrors are experimental devices consisting of spiral or cylindrical chambers made of polished aluminum, designed to reflect and concentrate what theorists call "time energy" or torsion fields.

Originally based on the work of Soviet astrophysicist Nikolai Kozyrev, who proposed that time is a physical energy interacting with matter, these mirrors were later developed in the 1980s and 1990s by researchers such as Alexander Trofimov and Vlail Kaznacheev to test hypotheses about non-local consciousness and temporal perception.

Participants who sat inside these mirrored chambers reported altered states of consciousness, including telepathic transmission with up to 95% accuracy in some experiments, out-of-body experiences, and visions of past or future events.

Busked live as usual in AUM using Hammerhead, Decent Sampler, Thereminator and a few other gubbins.

    @Gavinski : Ha! Thank you. I’d actually never heard of Journeyman National Hijinx, had to go and check it out after you mentioned them. Interesting outfit, I like them, thanks for the steer, I’ve put them in my rotation.

    I guess you were thinking of the crashing hit of fast drums in the middle, as there is something similar in their piece? To be honest, I’ve always been a sucker for the fast glitchy drum thing, ever since Roni Size and Nu Forms came out.

    I am so drastically unhip I don’t even know what that style or genre is called, but me using it here is more about me finally trying out the time divider/multiplier thing that I didn’t even know AUM had until @j_liljedahl himself pointed it out to me in response to one of my whinges about AUM a few months back.

As I get up there in age I find horrors about oversexed teens getting slashed by chainsaw wielding Shapes less compelling, and quietly terrifying ones about finding furniture rearranged, or the layout of the house altered or strangers in my rooms far more scary, as they are all possible futures for me. Put it this way. I can rewatch Anthony Hopkins in Silence of the Lambs endlessly . In The Father, not so much.

    I'm so glad to see horror having a (very extended haha) moment these days. Obsession was great fun, Backrooms - although on paper really up my street - not so much.

    This is a terrific piece! I enjoyed every second of it and especially loved how it kept morphing at just the time when my ears started getting bored by the repetition. You may be drastically unhip but you have timeless composition and arrangement skills.

    @lukesleepwalker :Thank you! I don’t really do dance music, so my occasional stumbles in that direction do find me obsessing over when to change or modify something. I don’t really have much of a yardstick for it, so when something comes out that sounds half decent, I consider myself very lucky. And drastically unhip: can confirm. :)

    Ps: that genre you were referring to earlier @Svetlovska is known as Drum n Bass haha.
    Here's a nice example, Drum n Bass for Papa, by Plug (AKA Luke Vibert) that's probably more to your taste than some of the stuff out there:
