Looking to Soundfont Pro to replace Samepletank on the iPad-is it still available?

I had a search on the Oz App Store, but could not find it. All that was there was Soundfont Pro-Piano Sounds, apparently for use in Garageband and Ableton.

If SoundFont Pro is not available, what other apps are recommended? Soundfonts are fine does not need to necessarily being sample based like Sampletank.

I do have Bismark BS-16i and Soundfonts but I am not really impressed with those as yet....I find BIsmark to be difficult to locate much higher quality soundfonts than those provided.

    KQ Sampei should hopefully get you to where you need to go. There's also MightySampler by Moby Pixels as suggested in the other thread, though I've never tested that one. Hopefully KQ Sampei will work wonders for you mate.

    sorry, Legacy version or 26? or it doesn't matter?

    EDIT: all good the developer has note on the legacy stating it is deprecated and to use 26 instead :)

    And if you're looking for more/better soundfonts, they're fairly easy to find in a web search. I would have recommended Soundfonts4U, but its creator seems to have retired. This page is a replica, but the files are missing. This site has the files without descriptions; a bit funky but works. This is a good starting point for conventional instruments, especially pianos.

    Great find @uncledave! The readme file has some of the original site content including the descriptions of the instruments or at least enough to figure out what is what.

    @jwmmakerofmusic : What exactly does KQ damper do? Is it an app that you load your sound fonts into? Like that other newish app , (something ) Synth?

    It's capable of loading SF2 files. :) Does a lot more than that too, but just for brevity's sake, it should do what Pax needs.

    Upvote for KQ Sampei. It’s an excellent SF2 and MIDI player, and the developer is very active and helpful. It supports SF2 files stored on local as well as external storage. I did have to spend some time learning the interface and reading the manual to use it properly, but it paid off for me,
