Free up storage
My Ipad storage is full and causing looping errors. I noticed that Loopy Pro is using 18GB, which I presume are cached files? How do I free up that storage? FYI: I don't use my Ipad for anything else. I'm not familiar with Apple iOS and the Offload App option looks kind of terrifying. I've a huge lot of work gone into my LP interface. If I lose that, it will set me back days. Is Offload App the only way to free up app storage?

In Files app, go to the Loopy Pro folder and look at the sizes of your projects. If any of them are very large, you may want to open them and see if there are save points that you want to remove.
If your workspace file is very large, let us know as the best way to deal with that depends on a few things.
If the files you see don’t amount to 18 gig, launch Loopy Pro and open the project browser. Look in the Audio Unit Extension folder and see if there are large files there.
Thanks. I just checked again and it's reporting the app as only using 253MB which seems normal. I didn't change anything. Maybe storage self-optimized? I'll see if I can set a lower warning threshold so it doesn't happen again. I'm presuming the OS self-optimizes during restarts?
