Oh wow! I'm not gonna do it today. But I'm definitely going to do it. Kudos to them. Surge is absolutely fantastic synth. Is it worth weekly xcode rebuilds just to have it on my ipad even though I currently otherwise don't do any dev working? Probably yeah.
I know how to sideload apps on iDevices, so it hasn’t been particularly hard. The synth plays well, of course no AUv3 for sideloaded apps, and I have yet to find a way to activate background audio and play the synth with a virtual MIDI controller app.
Unless I'm misunderstanding, that shouldn't be the case; I've definitely sideloaded my own apps and AUv3 just works
