Changing project tempo with audio files.
For Logic Pro iPad, I have a song where I want to increase the tempo but I have some audio files. Is it possible to edit the audio to perfectly match the new tempo?

What happens when you turn on "flex and follow" for all the audio regions in question? Occasionally I get quirky all of a sudden stretches to wrong values but usually I don't. Anyway if that does happen to any audio, re-stretch it to the correct bars, while the original tempo is the active one, then, with flex and follow on for all relevant audio, if you have tempo changes to the project they will speed up and slow down, Ableton-esque, and pretty smoothly too. It's a surprisingly good algo these days.
From the manual, p219-220
The stretching algos are indeed pretty good.
The end result will depend on the increase itself. If you stay reasonable with the increase, that might be unnoticeable. It will also depend on the nature of your track, meaning, if it is busy rhythmically or long loose and breathing notes.
Is it just a portion of the track with a gradual increase tempo automation or is it global (like checking how a track feels at faster tempo)?
Thanks for the responses. I was just cranking up the tempo by a nudge. I rever realized that time stretching was just an option next to the cut tool at the top toolbar. It was so much easier than I thought it'd be.
