Do effects in LP have true bypass?
When I put an effect as an insert in a channel and turn it OFF, is it truly bypassed—no effect on the signal passing through?
Example: I’m designing my setup to preserve the authentic tone of my orchestral clarinet. I want to switch on Eventide Rotary occasionally for subtle effects. But when it’s off, I don’t want it interfering with the tone or level of the clarinet. I know a bus would solve the problem, but I’m working with multiple effects and I want to keep the number of buses to a minimum—buses for radical effects, inputs for subtle coloring.

When an effect is off, it is truly bypassed and does not affect the signal.
