What sequel should be developed to a music app you love?
With the upcoming Glitchbreaks 2 just announced, I was thinking about other old apps that I would love to see an up to date sequel for.
Feel free to nominate your wishlist, and tell us why the apps would be great!
My number one would be a sequel to Sector. Do it, @j_liljedahl ! The original is such an innovative, amazing-sounding app and I would love for it to get a second version with AUv3 functionality.

Not a sequel but take everything out of BM3 and give me the sampler, layering, modulation, as an AUv3.

Or even better, all 4 in one integrated app before AI totally takes over and makes it all pointless.
I would love to see a port of Muse Score to IOS since the Muse Group has re-assigned the StaffPad team for essential sound libraries that are free on Muse Score (and StaffPad, thanks). But at this point StaffPad seems to have no developers… a MuseScore support guy was quoted as saying “It’s been ages since anyone looked at that code.”
So, I’ll vote for “StaffPad 2”. NOTE: with the current price and the 8 free instrument libraries StaffPad is a bargain to be able to hear complex orchestrations you create through notations.
The MIDI input mechanism just doesn’t produce results like any of the IOS DAW’s to build multi-part/channel projects. The handwriting approach with a required Apple Pencil continues to drive new users crazy. Get StaffPad… go crazy.
Conversely, make this in a DAW for less that $50 on an iPad:
