Quneo Question
This is the best, most active forum I have ever been part of which is why I am asking this question here.
I recently bought a quneo. I love it so far. I am starting to dive into creating a preset. I doesn't seem possible, but thought i would ask. I know that you can bank select for the pads, which basically transposes them. Is there a way to keep certain pads static, and bank select with the rest of them.
My idea is to have the 2 top rows of pads set to grid mode to control 8 loopy tracks. 1 pad per track
then the bottom 2 rows mapped in drum mode to where I could transpose up and down, only the bottom 2 rows. It seems that bank select for the pads are globally for the pads.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know of any way to do that but it would be a great feature.
I I just posted a similar question on the Keith Mcmillen forum wishlist. It seems the forum doesn't get a lot of traffic though.
No - I don't believe you can.
I've handled similar types of things on a PC using Bome's Midi Translator, and I assume you could do something similar with MidiBridge on iOS - but it's not as nice of a solution as being able to do on the Quneo itself.
I love KMI products - I have a Quneo, Softstep 2 and QuNexus - but there haven't been many feature updates to any of them after initial launch.
