Headphone jack or lightning port audio

Just thinking about buying a behringer uac202. Does it sound better then the headphone out jack and does it work with all the audio apps, especially cubasis?

  • I think it would sound better as its getting the audio digitally from the lightning connector rather than the headphone. But I wouldn't get it just for headphones, but to also record into cubasis as you mentioned. Doug from the sountestroom did a great video on this unit recording keys, bass, guitar into cubasis using this unit.
