  • These damn people all going off and getting on with their lives....

  • There is a life away from the forum? How do I find that?

  • Yeah, he's a good guy and I wish him the best. His one liners will be sorely missed, if nothing else. Hopefully our paths will cross again at some point. Until then, hope he has happy trails.

  • Yes boone51 is correct, only the best from us where ever it is you are.

  • He's asked me to delete his account. I don't have much of a backstory but I've tried to convince him that that's really not necessary. He insisted on it. I guess he's got stuff to do outside of mobile music.

  • Points to him for forgoing a dramatic exit...

  • Sometimes you've got to destroy the village to save it etc...

I want to hear the "etc." part of this.

  • Life choices huh. This place IS highly addictive.

  • I for one will miss him lots, If your lurking here Paul, good luck

  • Yeah, that's a bummer (wasn't he the one responsible for several great Sunrizer patches and some other materials?). But this forum and mobile music is 100% a hobby for me, so I absolutely understand. It is also quite addictive, so if it was interfering with anything else important to him (serious or superficial), then I'm glad he's off attending to that. Lots of great helpful people here, and he was one that stood out.

  • Yes, he contributed a lot to the forum, and his sense of humor was a big part of it. I hope we see him again.

  • Yeah, I'll miss the king of the one liners. Best wishes to him.

  • He'll be sorry, choosing other things over iOS music.

    Maybe it was financial.

Must be. Unless one of the lunatics got to him :D

Geesh, I hope I never have to delete myself : (

  • He was also kind enough to give us access to his Sonita sound fonts. Good luck Paul

  • He will be missed - good luck, Paul!

I'm fairly new here but what is all this talk about addiction? Addicted to what? Seriously I want to know what you guys are talking about.

  • I cant speak for anyone other than myself, but personally I'm addicted to good music, exploring new and creative apps, taking about how awesome they are, or in some cases, how much they suck, all with a group of like minded folks whose opinion I respect.

    @mkell424
Apps. Buying them, studying them, talking about them, testing, comparing...apps for apps sake. Can become icky - in the way addictions can be. Per another thread, the app thing comes from an amazing place, making music- gear, software are frontage roads into Valhalla or detours or both

  • I cured my slight addition to FB when I joined this forum!

That's why you're not so active there these days!

I'm starting to be more active here lately, it sure helps avoiding FB a bit :D
