Bluetooth speakers - remote activation?
Hi,
Been reading about Bluetooth speakers. At least with Bluetooth devices in general, there are provisions in the standard for several power-saving modes: sniff, hold, and park. See "Connection Process" section for more info (http://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/bluetooth-basics).
My questions:
How common are any of these power-saving features in Bluetooth speakers?
For those speakers that have one of those power-saving features, are there any that, once asleep, can be reactivated remotely, by the host (master) beginning to send a signal again, or a specific "wake" command, etc. (vs. physically by grabbing it and toggling the power switch)?
While brand names or models would certainly help, I'm also looking for the best search words to use in Google.
Thanks.
