Hmmm, maybe this or Stroke Machine would fill the admittedly narrow gap that the appaholic in me believes might exist in my synth drum collection. £2.49 is unarguably good value, unless Stroke Machine really does just blow this out of the water?
I might be mistaken, maybe the two apps don't even play the same ball game, or perhaps do, but play it in parks which are different enough to make both worth a visit.
If you're appaholic, you still have Tweakybeat (iPhone), no iOS8 ready, $0,99

Thanks.
I think I might be about to answer the slightly lesser-known question of what happens if you give one monkey an infinite number of music apps...
My answer was mainly to convince myself to buy both this evening.
Well, one of them for sure. I just won 20€ on lottery this morning...
The App Store is my lottery. And I play it frequently.

Um...congrats?
I know demos and even presets aren't always indicative of what you can get out of an app, but the demos for bleep!BOX left me cold. That, and I never see anyone talking about it.

This young fellow has Board Member material.
This is the video that keep me tempted:
I think u don't see much about bleep!box here lately because it's been around awhile, and the gui has its idiosyncrasies. Not that Stroke Machine doesn't have its idiosyncrasies.
Bleep!box is tremendous, and a bargain even at the usual asking price. I have Stoke Machine too and it's a bigger "studio" environment, costs more, (and should) but it's amazing how much overlap there is between the two apps. Both have tons of editable (and automatable) synth parameters. Both are midi capable etc- bleep!box is universal, and midi control is very good in both AB and IAA
Take a look at the YouTube material on bleep!box, you'll see some of what you can do
Yes, I'm warned about Stroke Machine, wich will be tomorrow on sale, but I must confess is quite intimidating to my knowledge.
So still thinking...
Appreciate the testimonial, @Littlewoodg. It's billed as a "drum machine/synthesizer box." How do you use it? (Anyone else want to chime in?)
The app looks well designed, and the synth sounds decent, but the beats/drum sounds I've heard so far aren't appealing.
I'm running it into BM2 on iPhone and BM2 and MTS on iPad, tweaking parameters to taste for drum and bass sounds
Thanks again. I've downloaded the free player. It hasn't been updated since 2012, but I'll give it a go and see what it'll do.
Still wouldn't mind hearing from other bleep!BOX owners.
