All their apps are on sale, including two of my favourite things - Turnado and Egoist...

If only one (self) could learn to wait.....@paradiddle guessing this looperator of which you speak is not iOS, right?

  • I think @paradiddle means egoist which had gone down to the old intro price rather than half price?

Just dropped $30 on Egoist and Turnado after monzo's recommendation and reading about them in the forums. You're right about them being great apps.

Does anyone know off hand if you can play slices in Egoist with an MIDI keyboard and record your performance into Egoist for editing? How about using the step sequencer in Cubasis to trigger Egoist and route the audio back into a Cubasis audio track? Or StepPolyArp? Possibilities would be endless. :)

  • Enjoy :).

Egoist, particularly, is great IMO. Huge sketch pad potential there...

    Got Turnado so amazingly fun!

  • One of my faves that one

  • How do Turnado and Flux:FX compare?

  • @johnnygoodyear yes you're right. I was mistaking vst plugins with ios apps.

  • I picked up Consequence in this Xmas sale. It's not iOS, but it just solidifies my like of Sugar Bytes. I also downloaded the Looperator demo, also not iOS, but it too has it's own unique flavor.

It's funny, they seem to use a lot of the same elements and ideas in their VSTs and Apps, yet each one is distinct enough from one another.

Now go make a midi drum machine Sugar Bytes! If anyone can make a funky drum machine it's you guys. Think layered samples, varying patterns, effects galore, and yes midi out!

  • @1p18 most companies do. If you look at fxpansion or rob papen/concrete fx stuff for example, they re-use the same fx/ synthesis a lot in most of their products. Probably a lot of devs time instead of rewriting everything from scratch.
