Is anyone using this to record e-guitar into the iPad?
How does it work out? Thinking of buying one.

Or should I just get a Rocksmith cable?
I have seen the ampkit link HD on eBay recently, brand new, for $50, that looks like it would be a good option. I almost got one but have the apogee one interface already and decided on a hardware amp sim unit instead. If you're looking at thomann you're probably in Europe, but there may be a similar deal.
The focusrite itrack solo seems to be on clearance in many places too, I have a friend who owns that and loves it.
Yes, I'm in Europe. I've ordered my first electric guitar and I just want a cheap cable that I can connect to the iPad and use with ToneStack. I've heard that the Rocksmith cable works using the camera connection kit, so I think I'll go buy one of those.
The Rocksmith cable does work.
