    Tried Physynth and could not get anything out of it of any use..I found the whole thing confusing, they may have sorted that now...Caelestis is really simple...so good for me ha.....no really its very cool and strangely for an app like this could be easily used with other apps...good choice of inbuilt sounds and lots of options

    Interesting stuff. Had never heard of this, but gave it a go and it's fun! Can you paste a separate sample in for each ball with the IAP, or does the variation come with the semitones you can set the sample up and down by?

    EDIT: I also get the crash.

    I also get the crashes when I change sound for the balls.And - I purchased the midi and the
    Copy/Paste options.Midi is fine.But every Wav.file I paste is totally distorted!Unusable...

    @Schimanski You have to change sounds before adding balls. Same happened to me.

    I'm the developer for Caelestis. Really sorry about the bug! I totally missed that when I was testing. I'm gonna submit an update to Apple tonight or tomorrow to fix it, so it should be out in about 5 days.

    Update is out today!

    • Fixed a bug that caused the app to crash when switching between sounds with balls moving.
    • Fixed a bug that caused imported audio to be distorted.
    • Fixed another bug that caused the audio to distort when switching between sounds.
    • Virtual MIDI is now available when connected to AudioBus

    Virtual Midi is available via IAP. Dunno what it's priced at, haven't bought it yet myself but most likely am since it seems like such a great little" tool" to have.
