  • @syrupcore always interested in the left field. Use/like either of these guys?

  • I'm a little suspicious of VOSIS. It's sound palate is extremely limited and sounds the same regardless of image posted (it's editing engine doesn't seem to do a significant amount, either). I understand that it's purpose is specific, but I wasn't super impressed.

  • @JohnnyGoodyear haven't tried either. Noticed they were free and downloaded them. I'm more interested in Amos than Vosis. Hopefully tonight because that's how I roll on NYE.

@syrupcore Not so different here in the rolling department. Seem to be a thousand parties happening tonight in Austin and I don't intend to do more than take the Missus to hang out with an old friend whose been playing honky-tonk telecaster for 35 years in this town but has promised to make us some tea and listen to my far-fetched explanation as to why we need to take his style and mesh it with some Icelandic ambient. Will pass an hour or two...

  • Austin ambient should be worth checking out!

  • Hey, if it gets you to Iceland...

  • Maybe you can record it in a swimming pool. http://www.tapeop.com/interviews/41/sigur-ros/

  • Austin Texas frontline in the infowars! :)

The second floor is where the control room is. So you can watch down from the control room down to the swimming pool.

I like the sound of it plenty. I like Sigur too. Truth is while Austin is pulsing with people and ideas and odd projects, I do find myself more in tune (sic) with myself or with sound when we are back in Maine. Don't know whether that's age or disposition. Both good places, don't want to fall into that thing Teddy R. was describing when he said 'Comparison is the thief of all joy...'
