I never realized it had a stereo input and a guitar level output presumably for plugging into a pedal board. If only it had a MIDI port... Think this also gets you the full Mobile Pod app for free.

Think you'd get skunked on the mobile pod app being that it is a restock?
I dunno. I assumed the mobile app had something in it that used the hardware as a sort of dongle and would automatically enable the whole lot of effects. I don't own it so I'm not sure.
The mobile app works with sonic port only as far as I remember. I'm not hugely impressed with the app (some like it) but I love the form factor, built quality and flexibility of such a small unit albeit it doesn't have midi.
You should be able to use the mobile app with it, it is a hardware dongle. You can pay to use other interfaces. I don't have the app or the device, but I know that's true.

This. What supadom said was true until November, then they offered a 20 dollar IAP to let you use it with other interfaces. I actually do like the app and use it with Apogee Jam. Not a full competitor to JamUp or ToneStack but solid tones, and they added a sorely needed OD pedal last month. This 50 dollar restock isn't a bad deal if you don't have a digital guitar interface yet.
I love it, specifically cause it has stereo/Mono ins and outs. Really any combo you need. I just wished it was USB so it could go into a hub allowing use of USB controllers. Supposedly the fancier model has a USB port, if it can be used a hub, I am not sure.
$50bucks with or without the Mobile POD app is a steal. Would recommend!
