Ram differences between devices
So, I recently made a mad purchase of the IPad Air 1gen to see if it will ship with IOS7 on it as my old one has a wobbly jack. So I took a gamble but failed as the new device came with 8 pre-installed.
Because now I have 3 iPads and 2 iPhones I decided to compare total ram amount on each of them. I was expecting the same reading on all of them but surprisingly......
IPad Air (purchased 01.13) ram = 1023.37
IPad Air (purchased 12.14) ram = 1022.87
IPad Mini Retina ram = 1020.77
IPhone 5s (purchased 12.14) ram = 1047.70
IPhone 5 (my gf's purch. 2012) ram = 1065.00
IPhone 4s (purchased 2013) ram = 529.48
This is probably why all of us have different experiences using the same setups. I used system tools app on all of the tested device. Not sure exactly the purpose of this test other than curiosity.

Another interesting fact would be, how much of the Ram is available on different Systems.
I have just made a deep refresh on my devices an cMemory shows 222 MB on my iPhone 4s and 588 MB on my iPad 3.
I just got my new ipad air yesterday and it came with ios7.0.3
I know @Tritonman2 I'm sure there's loads of them around it's just many of the retailers do not know if the units are sealed.
How do you perform a deep refresh? @StalkerBj Are you talking available or total memory?
About available memory.. CMemory does allow you to do a quick or deep refresh.

Where did you get yours?
My wife ordered it from eBay.
Anyone got a comparable figure for the Air2?
IPad Air 1 bought 10/14 - 1022.87 (seems like later models have a different RAM?)
IPad Air 2 bought 11/14 - 2084.02
@Fitz (seems like later models have a different RAM?)
Also interesting that so far I've found more ram on iPhones than IPads. I find this strange as geekbench tests report cellular iPads performing slightly worse albeit CPU wise, if I remember correctly.
