iOS sequencer question: which one for hard synth?
Friends, so far I have been matching my SubPhatty hard synth with the iOS app Xynthesizr; beside some glitches, and some freeze up on the Moog, it has been working quite well as sequencer.
At the moment, while choosing a hard sequencer, I d love to step up on the iOS side as well, I have considering :
- StepPolyArp
- B Step pro
- midiSequencer
However, I could not find so many feedback about how they match with a hard synth.
Bottom line, which one, as experience, would you advice?
Thanks, and happy new year!

You could also try driving it by Magellan. It has a great arp with two modes. There's also a step sequencer but I didn't get on with it. I think it is on sale too!
midiSequencer is specifically modelled on hardware sequencers, has a very stable clock, and of course can drive your Class Compliant Core MIDI interface to your external synths. It has a bunch of extra goodies you won't find on the hardware sequencers too.
+1 for Analog midiSequencer. It's a great app, but particularly geared for that specific purpose, I would think.
