Gadget and Module updated, but still broken

Korg has just released updates for Gadget and Module. The Gadget update specifically mention fixes for noises produced when using sounds from Module, but the test I did in this video still produces glitches :-(

Comments

  • Perfect video. I hope you sent this directly to Gadget's people.

  • Too bad Korg has disabled comments and posts on their FB page as this would make it pretty easy to reach ~80.000 people and make them aware of the 'bug'...

  • Have you restored your purchases in gadget?

It's working a lot better for me now...not 100% if you hammer the keys whilst the editor is open and jam it full of notes but it holds up pretty well now...

  • scratch that its still glitchin....as in the video after putting it through the riggors

  • The intended sounds from Module are good. The unintended not so much....

  • I think Korg's out in front on this one. The kids these days, they like them some glitchin' sounds ;)

  • Yeah, I restored too, still glitches:-(

Please, do anyone know if it's possible dissable notifications like "Top list updated"? Thanks.

  • never got that notification in Gadget - but I never use it with wifi turned on ever - so maybe that's the answer?

  • Blanco, like most iOS apps with notification options, Gadget has its own section in the Settings app. Check there.

  • Yes, I already knew that, but all is disabled and still...Unfortunately, there's not the only one doing that.

  • A bit OT but what are users think about Glasgow?I'm not really looking for a Piano or Organ,so...

  • I really like Glasgow, mostly because of the included effects. If you don't need the other stuff, Glasgow alone is not really worth the price you have to pay for Korg Module.

  • I like Glasgow for some of the basic wave form presets 18 onwards, they sound really big and solid and super useful on a variety of projects.

    Thanks!

Maybe i'll grab it on another sale.Unless they release new Gadget(s) at the same time :)

    Appreciate that thought Glaswegians.

Was getting nowhere trying to mix something in Auria, everything was mud and worse. Suspect this was connected with Mrs. Goodyear down the hall (but not far enough down the hall) watching the Golden Globes and making more noise than the accumulated winners and losers.

Gave up with the Big A and took a pass at Glasgow just hoping for some sorbet to clear the palate of my head. 25 REZ SQUARE (with a little automated flange fiddling) sorted me right out.

High pass filters and cuts in the low mids = clearer mud.

Golden Globes and other awards shows = muddy brain.

The movie on Nathaneast.com and "the greatest ears in town" on amazon prime = wonderful inspiration.

This all relates to gadget in some way I think.

@mrufino1 Good stuff :) Especially the rec on Nathaneast. Never heard of it, but intrigued. Grazie.

EDIT: Oh man, it's Sunday night Rufino and I'm on duty early in the morning, but just five minutes of that movie tells me I'm going to be up for a while....

  • That happened to me last week!

  • I've made a new video showing the problems still exist, and continue even after you stop playing notes:
