What Synth is this?
Hello hello. Obsessing with Amon Tobin, as usual. What synth is this? I would really like to know because I don't know jack (ah) about synthesis or synthesizers. (Although I do have a couple of them;) And you guys are a bunch of geeks. No offense really. Aspirating.
I'll post the interview as well if anyone's interested.
One more. The 'wooden' controller? The one he firstly has under his keyboard. I have seen it somewhere but can't exactly remember what it is or what it's called.

Can Animoog reproduce this kind of sound?
It is a Minimoog Voyager. I am a lucky owner of the Electric blue Minimoog Voyager and it is an awesome performance synthesizer.
Animoog may be able to simulate some of the sounds, but it's not going to be able to do everything that is possible with a Minimoog Voyager because of the hands on control that is possible with a hardware synth that would be difficult to do on the Animoog.

Blamsoft’s Viking is loosely based on the Voyager so that might be a good alternative?!
OK, this made me read the Wikipedia entry, so now I know not only that his full name is poetry (Amon Adonai Santos de Araújo Tobin, I mean 👌) but also that he scored the theme music of Orphan Black. So now I'm officially a fan, despite him wearing a hat indoors.
I don't know about a documentary, but Jamie Lidell interviewed him for his podcast.
