haQ attaQ Ep32 – ”my Top 5 most surprising apps of 2014″ - list
I've thought a LOT about a LOT of apps that came out last year (2014)
and decided to make a list of sorts. Now I am not too fond of ”the worst”
types of lists, nor am I too interested in ”the best” kinds of lists either.
For me there aren't any best or worst apps. If I find a use for an app, I use it.
And if I can’t use an app because it might be broken, I try to give constructive criticism.
If a developer abandons an app in a broken state, I just stop talking about it
and using it altogether.
So I decided on making a list of five apps from 2014 that positively surprised me.
The criteria for an app making this list is that I, didn't expect much from it.

Interesting approach. Look forward to watching this...

heh, the joy of low expectations!
I enjoy your shows very much (ok a lot), thanks.
Nice to see some love for Tera too.
Thanks guys, hope you like the episode.
@bonso I use Tera Synth a LOT. The matrix of this thing makes patching crazily fun! I'm almost afraid to start it up, I get so into what I'm doing I forget about everything else.
Thanks for the video!
I don't want to be a pita, but Impaktor is from 2012, and Audio Mastering and Xynthesizr are from 2013!
I know right...time flies!
@Greg You are absolutely correct, Tim Webb pointed it out to me too.
Personally I've only been into iOS Music making for about a year now and these apps where new to me....eh would that qualify as an excuse? Hehe
Anyway, I should make some annotations inside the video. I don't want to mislead people.
No problem, we all make mistakes. I just pointed it out....not whining!
Thank you good sir, interesting stuff to send me back to...

People are so fussy !
These Apps were also new to me this year for similar reasons.
I wouldn't feel the need to annotate it, after all the title isn't actually that misleading.
”my Top 5 most surprising apps of 2014″
Agree with the Bonze.
Yeah Im fussy
I just want to point out that every bit of constructive criticism is welcome! I'm really happy that people find my stuff interesting enought to talk about.
You are all very precious to me!
I'm glad you say that because there's a leTter missing in the end of the video.
Loving the videos, mr. Haq
AND your bookshelves need tidying up!
I didn't even start music on iOS until early 2014, so it's all been new to me. That - and the ambulatory fungi living on my bookshelves - have kept me well outside the iOS vlogosphere. Kudos to all the effort and insight you put into each, episode, Jakob
@Macao95: Darn it I though I had all of the Type-o's fixed!
@JohnnyGoodyear: I am not allowed to do anything about the bookshelves I'm afraid. =D
All of those books belong to my girlfriend and If I touch them she might do something really horrible to me....
@eustressor: Thank you for your heartwarming and kind words! The funny thing is, when I watch my own episodes and think, "oh my good I am flimsy". =D
