Anyone here using Air Display 2 on ios8?

There's a bunch of recent negative reviews on the app store and with the price increase i'm kinda reluctant to buy it but i can't see an alternative for PC and at least i have to option to get a refund if it doesn't work but not sure it's worth the time!

Want to use it as a multi-touch display to control windows and as a second display with Ableton Live but not for anything too complex, just faders, mixer levels things like that. Thanks.

  • Im using teamviewer (free) to control a windows pc with my ipad.

  • Excellent, i though there must be other apps out there but wasn't turning much up. I'll try it out with Live later but as a RTD controller looks like a win! :)

  • Depending on what version of windows you're running (ie Home v pro) you may have Remote Desktop. If you do have the RDP server, I have found that the actual Microsoft made Remote Desktop app is far superior (for my needs anyway) than any of the third party stuff.

  • I purchased Duet Display for my iPad Air 2 for use as a second display for my MacBook Pro and it's brilliant. I have been using Propellerhead Reason 8.1 on my iPad using the touch screen and it's awesome.

    Pro but only problem is i have to have the firewall enabled to use it and i use my routers firewall. i'll have to try it out but i don't wanna have to screw around with firewall settings too much. Cheers.

    @Artmuzz that's mac only though isn't it?
