MY attempt Recording on Ipad/Cubasis(Metal/Hard Rock guys)
Had some time yesterday... messing around and recording two songs in 1 hour. I did all the drums/bass/guitars everything in cubasis/jamup/bias on IPAD.
I'm pretty much new to record and playing guitar. ACtually I suck... anyway any advice about recording or guitar playing?

Good job putting it out there, and you don't suck, it sounded pretty good, so don't say that!
A few suggestions: With the drums, you may want to look at the programming a little and make the fills match what you're doing on the other instruments. Also maybe lay back a little with the guitar playing, sometimes it gets a little ahead of the beat. But I like the riffs, very melodic and you have good ideas. My window was a very catchy riff and I think it leaves a nice bed for vocals.
It was good to hear music you made, you ask a lot of questions but it shows that you also pay attention to the answers. Well done, keep making more music!
Thanks..but I'm nowhere the caliber of any of you guys here. I'm just glad to be creating music with my iPad. Yea sorry my timing is the worst ...gotta work on that...also hate working in drums..programming drums. I'm primarily a guitar playing...I just need a drum loops..basically I used rock drum machine and record,l,but the fills didn't happen where I want it.....what can I do?
I don't like RDM for recording. There's no velocity. Sometimes the fills sound like a machine gun (in a bad way). In another thread, someone suggested taking taking a few minutes of a RDM recording and cutting it up into loops using your DAW. Set the BPM, line up your drum track, and start cutting it up. You could set up a track for verse, one for fills, bridge, etc. That app has real potential, but I can't find a use for it beyond practicing.
I'm with you about programming. I hate it. I've had to buy third party drum loops, but you do have to be willing to make some sacrifices going that route, which I don't mind too much. I really like the stuff I've gotten from The Loop Loft, and I've goften a lot of use from DrumLoops HD. I've started playing around with DrumPerfect, but I'm not totally satisfied with that either.
As for the music, I really like the guitar riffs; you can play, man. Sounds good.
mixing this song(window).. anybody can help me? i want to have more bass...drums to be more lively. but unfortunately i deleted the original so i can't go back to it. I just have the file in final touch.
