Question about setting Thor MIDI source
I can get Thor synth to recognize my MIDI controller okay, but it is a little annoying to set the MIDI source. Has anyone else noticed this in Thor?
When I start Thor up, the MIDI source is usually set to "All" and I can see the Graphite49 keyboard in the list. There is no sound from the keyboard with Thor's MIDI source set to "All." Then when I switch the MIDI source to "Graphite49," there is still no sound. Finally, if I switch back to "All" I can finally hear sound from the keyboard. And now I can switch the MIDI source back to "Graphite49" and hear sound also.
What's the deal with that?

looks like an error.
One of the reasons why Thor has not been used very much yet on my iPad. But thanks for the workaround, I now seem to know why the keyboard input was sometimes recognised and sometimes not.
I have the exact same experience with an MPK mini mk I through Apogee Duet midi USB. When I open midi prefs in Thor I see Duet, and it is selected, but no sound. The fix is as easy as selecting 'none' or something else, then selecting 'Duet' again, and bam, it recognizes the controller - SOUND!
Sort of a PITA, but not the biggest deal. I have other greater challenges in my ios rig.
