jamup pro xt on ipod touch
My daughter found her ipod touch 4g in a drawer last night, unused since she got her iphone. I took it to use as a backup synth rig (detailed in another post) but just restored it to factory settings today and installed only music apps. jamup crashes immediately upon startup. I know this is underpowered and is still on ios6, but just wondering if anyone has jamup running on the same hardware? ampkit runs but I don't own any ampkit IAP's and do own a lot in jamup (both bass packs especially, most important being a bassist). It's not a huge deal if it doesn't work because I run it on my ipad an iphone, but the ipod touch will be nice to keep in my bass case as a backup and for practice without having to use my phone.

Hey there. I use JamUp Pro on iPod 4 sometimes and recently confirmed the following with Positive Grid, the app makers:
JamUp Pro currently requires iOS 7 or above to run.
iPod Touch 4 can only go as high as iOS 6.1.6
Older versions of JamUp Pro (up as far as 3.6.1.818) will run on iPod Touch 4 running latest build of iOS 6. This is what I'm using-downloaded before they bumped up their minimum requirements.
I'm not sure if there's any way to download/install older versions of JamUp Pro but I have my doubts. Good luck!
The App Store is supposed to let you download the last compatible version and says that it did, that's why I'm not sure. If it can't work it's not a huge deal, but if it will that's cool. I wonder if I backed it up at some point.
