FM4 arpeggiator at tempos other than 120 bpm,
If I want 130 bpm or 90 bpm, what am I supposed to do? Twirling the only available knob is not much help.
Is this a developer's mistake or am I stupid?

For the Tap-Tempo/Tempo to work you need to change the 'Arp - Free' to 'Arp - Synced'. If you need to sync the tempo to a sequencer set sync to external. The rate knob will control beat deviation when Arp is synced.
Most presets are made using 'Arp - Free' thus changing the Tempo has no effect...
i've also noticed that while synced up to an external clock set to any tempo FM4 still shows 120 as the bpm
Primal audio are looking for B testers for v 1.1 FM4, incl AB

Where is this so-called 'external' sync setting? All I've got is free and synced. Was this under an update?

Press the tempo label over the tap-button...
Thanks Samu, I made the changes you suggested and now I can control the tempo of FM4's arpeggiator from Cubasis.
But what if I want to use FM4 just by itself? Am I limited to tap tempo only? Is there really no way to dial in exactly 79 BPM?

I think that's one of the feature-requests for the next version that is apparently in the works, time will tell when that happens...
Thanks Samu. This is my current favourite synth. Lack of easy bpm input is a real pain.
Btw, any idea what the "fine" button is for (above the "hold" button at left screen)?

Hehe, thank you! Seemed to have disregarded the little arrow next to tempo!
