do we like 64bit apps?
I just saw that DM1 was updated today (very excite) and included "64bit architecture." That makes me wonder what the benefits of 64bit are for iOS music? It seems like it just demands more resources, which are often being stretched to the limit already. So what does 64bit actually do for a music app, acoustically speaking?
If its obvious I have no idea what I'm talking about, please school me.

Well the main advantage is that you can access more than 4GB of RAM, oh wait....
There is also a small speedup, at the cost of a larger base memory footprint. Essentially at this stage 64 bit is mostly just hype.
At least when iOS devices do actually get to the point where they have more than 4GB of RAM the software will be ready for it, unlike OS X where the whole Carbon/Cocoa API stuff caused years of chaos, with Apple claiming than the older APIs would be supported and then killing them off without warning.
It does nothing for the sound quality. AFAIK, it just means better memory management and no RAM limit like there is with 32bit.
