Soundprisim Electro and Alchemy
I'm having a lot of fun at the moment using SP Electro to control Alchemy. It makes me a much better keyboard player. I was wondering what the thoughts are on how much longer the two will play well together?
I can't seem to get SP to work to control some of my favorite synths, like Magellan, Tera, Nave, and I thought I had used it with Thor initially, but now I'm having no luck with that as well. What do I need to do to get them to work together? I should disclose that I am a midiot of midiots. What should the settings be on the synths? When I check SP electro is selected under midi out, what else do I need to get it to work?
Thanks.

I can get all of the synths you mentioned to work with SP Electro. I'd start SP Electro first and make sure the background audio is turned on in the app and its receiving midi on channels 1-3 (omni mode will work).
About electro. Is it worth buying if I got SoundPrism pro?
It works a little differently than SoundPrism Pro you can hit bass key and trigger chords or you can hit chords and trigger bass and melody in either mode. It also has a filter slider which sends out midi CC(#76 I believe). There are three sounds each for bass, chord, and melody parts which were designed to mix and match well together. You might want to check out videos to see if the sounds suit your taste.
Actually it's does. Thank you. And I have a discount when completing the bundle sweet

SP Electro sends on 3 different MIDI channels 1, 2 and 3. Maybe the apps in question aren't configured to listen to all MIDI channels and you only get the bass notes?
Alchemy should be Pro to receive midi
Thanks everyone. After trying some suggestions, I was able to get Magellan and Thor working with it. Hope to try the others soon.
So what did you do to make them work?

With Magellan I did this: Started SP Electro first. Opened Magellan, Turned on Background audio in Magellan, went to prefrences in Magellanunder midi synth one and synth two switched to omni. I thought the midi out had something to do with it, but it doesn't seem to matter if synth 1 or 2 areon for that button/tab.
Thor: Started SP Electro first.Started Thor. Under settings, midi source to SP Electro, background audio was automatically on.
Maybe it was needing to start soundprisim electro first like stated above? I don't know, just happy it works.
