Turnado plus novation launch pad
Just bought the notation launch pad, totally at a loss as to how to use it with turnado. I have an akai eie. Any help or advice?'

bump?? i feel like there must be an easy solution I am oblivious too
Do you have audiobus? Can you route launchpad and turnado in audiobus like this?:
Yes and yes. Better than caffeine
I thought he meant the physical Novation Launchpad.
Just to be clear, these are the apps needed:
Novation Launchpad by Novation

Turnado by Sugar Bytes GmbH

Audiobus by Audiobus Pty Ltd

As far as the akai eie goes, maybe you do have a hardware Novation launchpad?
I found this video, someone is using the Camera Connection Kit as a USB iPad adaptor. Do you have one of those? Check this vid:
In this case, perhaps you may not need Audiobus, Turnado will listen to the akai input. I don't have this equipment to test tho, so let us know how it goes

How do you want to use it with Turnado? Make sure it's seeing the Novation in the MIDI settings. Then, long press a control to enter MIDI Learn mode for that control. When it's in Learn Mode, hit a pad on your Novation. Don't think you can turn knobs with the novation but I don't own it so perhaps there are ways.

thanks for the responses everybody! I do indeed have a physical novation (a launchkey specifically) I bought it after seeing a video of somebody using it with turnado and loopy, and it seemed very ideal. I was able to get the novation as well as the eie to show up under turnados midi section. However, whenever I try to assign the knob I get no response. I did not have the novation app downloaded however. Maybe this is why?
I do use audiobus, typically bm2 into turnado into loopy.
