@Sinapsya Insidious and creepy. It's just at that BPM that grinds my teeth (in a good way).

  • Sinapsya that's pretty creepy and I like it.

  • Just what in hell is going on at that busstop? It sounds like fun what ever it is that is going on!

  • Is there a way to add multi samples to BH and spread them across the keyboard range?

    @knewspeak said:

@Musikman4Christ, Yes but, the samples in the packs for BH would be multi-samples zoned across the keyboard range, whereas our sample would stretch the full range of pitch, giving massive distortion as you move way from the original samples pitch, so only of use near the original pitch, unless you require special effects.

  • @Musikman4Christ, at the moment the answer is unfortunately no, so if used like above good for fixed samples or FX, but only of limited use to produce reasonably recreations of your own pitched samples.

  • You could have 1 pad per octave i suppose and load the next octave up to the next pad to preserve the pitch/quality...

I do hope they add the option though....soon....

  • Neh, that wont work for me for playing live. I wanna switch patches on the fly. Right now my main synth for playing live is Z3TA but I wanna create multi samples of Z3 Thor, FM4 etc. Where I can have created patches of sounds made up of a mix of all these awesome synths.

  • so bm2's multisampling won't work?
have you thought about thumb jam it's been a minute but doesn't thumb jam do multisamples?

  • Gonna revisit BM2 and TJ.

BM2 is probably your best option, haven't tried the sampling capabilities of TJ, has anyone else used imported samples in TJ? Maybe time to give it go.

I think what I'll do is sample into BM2 then export that sample to TJ as I like how TJ patch or instrument select screen remains open once you select an instrument. That's a must for live play.
Might still get BH tho. Sounds really nice!
Still need to learn how to sample tho. LOL!
if I want to sample say, z3, Thor and fm4 all at the same time, would audioshare be easier, or BM2? Sorry for being so ignorant about sampling. But i really wanna learn.

  • Sampling into thumbjam is a breeze.

  • I was not even aware I could sample to thumb Jam? I will have to look for a video.

You can... Just load the sample from the browser to which pad you want, that's what I've been doing, or am I missing something?

You can create a kit by assigning all the samples on the 16 pads and then save the project. When you want to use it again load this project by pressing "kit only".

  • Have been using the 'repeat pad velocity' trick, but didn't realise if you alter the groove and grid when recording this overdubs on top of what you've already recorded, some strange grooves can be created this way. BTW the repeat velocity trick works in pitch mode too.

  • Hey, does Thumjam do sample layering?
