Korg Module MIDI file player

How accurate is it?
I was thinking I could compose something in Symphony Pro and import the parts to Module and then record them in Auria. Possible?

  • Nobody?
I guess I'll pass on this one then.

  • Be a pioneer. Try it out and let us know :)

  • Why couldn't you do that?

  • I don't have it.

  • You can fix that though.

  • That's what this thread is about. However, no concrete answer, no buy. :)

  • Be nice peeps. Pichi was only asking the notoriously nice members of our Audiobus forum for advice before punting on a not so cheap app.

  • I don't have either app but I would think it would work. You're not looking to sync apps, just play a midi file in one that you made in another? That sounds reasonable. Module is still 19.99 in the App Store here so if you are thinking about it I'd say today is the day.

  • Well I think you could only do one track at a time right? I have never seen it used for multiple tracks at once,.

The reason I'm skeptical is because it's a fail in most apps — they will not recognize time sig changes or other subtitles programmed in Symphony Pro. If Symphony Pro had midi out, iOS would have everything I need. But it doesn't and the only app I can use to program scores directly is in MTS Studio, which only gives me 80% of what I want ...so at the end of the day I'm back to Logic.
    ...maybe in the near future...

@pichi I hear you. I suspect you're a little ahead of your time. Can never decide if that's better or worse than the alternative...
