Using MidiBridge to change the channel of a controller keyboard
My nanoKey2 keyboard only sends on channel 1 (unless I edit it on my computer). I was hoping that MidiBridge would allow me to use the Holy Mapper module to "transform" the channel number from 1 to whatever I needed. However, after a number of experiments with just the keyboard and nLog synth set to channel 3 I am at a loss.
Should I be using the StreamByter thingy instead? Will I need to be emailed some sort of script?
Comments
holy mapper should work, although stream byter can work too.
how is the keyboard connected to the iOS? over wifi? or directly?
if you're connecting directly, this might help to keep coremidi active:

stream byter isnt a script, but a series of definitions that can be written yourself, like this:

let me know how it goes
Connected directly via cck. Checking out info, thanks.
You might want to contact the developer via his forum with your MidiBridge question.
Alternatively you might want to consider the Midiflow app. I was able to connect a nanoPad connected via CCK to channel 3 on NLog Pro and channel 4 for Addictive Synth at the same time.
Thanks Paulinko, that's a useful looking forum. Still no luck with MidiBridge (haven't given up yet). Looking into Midiflow.
