MidiSequencer app doesn't show network session device

edited January 2015 in General App Discussion

I would like to use MidiSequencer (on iPad Air, IOS 8.1.2) to send midi-data to my Windows-PC-DAW via rtpMidi, but MidiSequencer doesn't show the 'network session'-device in it's Devices-panel (In nor Out)! (It only shows the 'MidiSequencer'-device, but that sends nor recieves nothing via wifi to or from rtpMidi). I tried e.g. StepPolyArp and Xynthesizer and they both show a 'network session' for midi-In and -Out and they work fine (and I can record their midi-data to my PC-DAW). Is this a (IOS 8) bug? Anyone else having this problem?

MidiSequencer has disabled by default "Include Network sessions". I never use it in that way, but check it out.

Go to "Adjustments/MidiSequencer" on your iPad.

  • That's it! Thank you very much!
