Good cheap ipad stand? Any recommendations?
Just looking for a cheap but stable ipad stand, anyone got a recommendation?

I've had this Amazon Basics tablet stand for quite some time. Inxpensive, stable, well built.

I'm really happy with my K&M dedicated stand. Its stable, versatile, easy one hand click in and out, used either on top or next to the mic. It's not the cheapest but I'd always buy again.

I use a sheet music stand. It's great in that it will hold my iPad 4 and mini retina both.
I have the Amazon Basics one too, it's great and dirt cheap!
Very nice, the only images I see are with a tablet in the portrait position. Will it work just as well with an ipad in the landscape position as well?
Saw this one as well:

It's adjustable, works in portrait or landscape.
Talent iClaw from Amazon. So good I bought it twice.

Griffin A-Frame
Using iPad 4, but both stands/holders work for all iPad models.
Akron makes one that looks exactly like the Amazon one. I will be buying one of them today.
Both are the same price.

Thanks all, I found that one for $4 on ebay

I also have 2 of the griffin a-frames in storage but I'm travelling at the moment
Just ordered the Arkon one. Can't wait to get it, no more ipad lying flat on the table
Just bumping this thread. I have a mount for my iPad Air but the arm will not tighten up enough and the iPad always slowly falls forward.
Looking for a good, tested mic stand mount for my iPad Air.
You could ask your mother in law to hold the ipad in front of you.
I use a generic music stand for sheet music. Works great. In fact, I usually have both my iPad 4 and mini retina both on it at the same time. There's even room for my iPhone 5S.
I don't recommend the Bestek full-motion rotatable. I had the same issue with the iPad constantly leaning and moving, would not stay still, eventually broke after like 3-4 weeks.
i paid forty-something for the iKlip 2 & i'm afraid it will break if i breathe on it.
I haven't run into any problems with the iKlip. I have the iPad attached to a stand with a microphone boom. I can position it right above my MIDI keyboard. The other side of the microphone arm is used for headphones and cables.
It may not be the cheapest one but I'm happy with my iKlip Studio (as a desktop stand). Also, I had a good experience with the iKlip Xpand Stand.
IKlip Xpand and their Phone stand both seem pretty sturdy for me. Not a cheap iPad stand, but not cheap, either.
i just imagine my cat knocking my mic stand over and those plastic iKlip arms shattering...so far no catastrophe though & i do like the iKlip...
iKlip is constructed from dense thermoplastic molded components, it may be lightweight but it is very strong. You need not worry so much about issues from normal even rigorous use (they are used live all the time).
Also decided after long search for the iKlip Studio. Works great, no problems, solid work.
@ikmultimedia I actually think I have either an iKlip or a knock off, can't remember what I ordered. It is very well build as far as the plastic goes. My issue is the iPad will not stay in the position that I set it too. It always ends up tilting down.
I am going to modify it this afternoon to hold better.
